Julia was born in Scotland in 1999, and works from London.

Julia’s work focuses on people and the connections we make with each other, across time and place. Drawing inspiration from folk art and medieval stained glass, moments of empathy are at the centre of her work.

Julia undertook classical training in portrait drawing in Florence and accepts a number of commissions each year. She is greatly inspired by Sargent and the Reynolds school.
